Bill has over 27 years of experience in the travel and media industries, preceded by ten years of experience in the financial sector. 

He founded one of the largest video creation companies in the North American real estate industry and R&R Television Network, with distribution into 34 million households. He also founded TravelByUs, a small-cap NASDAQ company that completed 21 travel industry-related acquisitions, and Leisure Canada, which boasts 210 agencies and international tour operations in Great Britain, France, South Africa, and the South Pacific. He also created travel magazines and Cuban hotel developments. 

Before his career in travel and media, he operated the master franchise for Thrifty Car Rental in British Columbia.

Bill holds a Specialized Honors Economics Degree from York University.
